FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

1.  I am very unfit.  Can I join your sessions without feeling self-conscious?

Absolutely.  Every session allows you to exercise at your own fitness level and you can be assured that there will be others of a similiar level to you.

2.   Am I charged for sessions that I don't attend?

Definitely not for the regular outdoor group fitness sessions.  That is the good thing about StepOut Group Fitness.  We understand that there are times when work, family comittments, illness etc prevent you from attending.  Sessions are only counted when you are there.  For the Spin Out a cancellation fee may apply in certain circumstances, due to the limited number of bikes available.

3.   Do I need to book or can I just show up?

For the regular outdoor group sessions you can just show up.  For the Spin Out classes bookings are essential as there are limited spaces available.

4.   I have an injury that may prevent me from performing certain activities.  Can I still attend?

Absolutely. If there is a certain exercise that you cannot do then you willbe given an appropriate alternative.  If you have a current rehabilitation program from a physiotherapist then we will supervise this for you.

5. Why choose Stepout Group Fitness over one on one personal training?

For one thing, the cost difference is enormous.  For example, you can attend 3 sessions/week for as little as $29.70.  3 x 1 hour personal training sessions will cost you around $250.  Group fitness training offers you a support network that is so vital to long term success with health and fitness goals.  You are always closely supervised to ensure your exercise form is correct.

6.  Why choose one on one personal training?

One on one personal training does provide you with 100% attention and you receive a fully individualised program specifically designed for you.  This is particularly important for those who may have specific requirements.  Some people just prefer to not be in a group situation for a variety of reasons so this type of training will be the preferred option.  If you want to enjoy all of these benefits but still want to reduce the cost, then get a partner or a small group and train together.
